Ayahuasca and other spiritual worlds.
18 May was the day of the fascination for plants. To this event, this article is dedicated.
Amazonia, or the Amazon as we know it. It is a sanctuary of plant life. Whose botanical richness we are not fully aware of today. Our pharmacies and hospitals are full of medicines and drugs obtained from nature, the natives of the Amazon rainforest have always had them. For their traditions and rituals, for living among insects and hostile plant life, in many cases. For thousands of years they have studied their effects on humans. Giving them the precise use for illnesses of the body and also of the spirit. That threatened the survival of their communities. The descendants of the Mayas know well their secrets and effects on people.
When these plants were brought to developed countries by explorers and adventurers, scientists began to work on experimenting with their effects with daring and passionate volunteers. Thanks to scientific advances in psychopharmacology, it was possible to do so without affecting the health of the volunteers.
This group comes from fields linked to medicine and psychopharmacology, whether as professionals in the sector: psychiatry, pharmacology, or consumers, who are looking for a different reality. They have tried LSD, psychotropic drugs, heroin, cocaine or other hard or soft drugs (alcohol, etc.), all of which cause addiction and hallucinations.
Within this group of volunteers the most interesting are the experts on psychedelics, i.e. hallucinogenic or entheogenic drugs. They compare LSD and DMT and explain their significant differences.
Their opinions are not to be missed. They will not leave you indifferent. Here is a link to a documentary about an exhaustive study by professionals. About Ayahuasca:
Documentary DMT - The Spiritual Molecule
According to the latest studies we know that there is a component in all living beings that connects us all. It is called CMT. It is believed that Ayahuasca together with chacruna produces a high dose of CMT which takes you to the deepest memories of your mind.
You can reconfigure the sensations by your own will. For a better understanding I leave a link to an illustrative documentary from a scientific point of view. About how and what causes the initiation in the Ritual of Ayahuasca.

Here is the first congress on Ayahuasca in our country. You may ask yourselves: Why in Ibiza? I said so myself. And they explained to me that the first introducers of the plant in Spain did it through this fascinating island.
1st International Ayahuasca Congress. Ibiza.
Some time ago I heard about a plant that connects you with your soul or your inner self, some adventurers told me that in Latin America, in the Amazon jungle, there was a plant that provides this connection. As in the pygmy tribes of Africa, they use a cardiac tonic and hallucinogen that provides connections in our brain that are very difficult to make of our own free will. According to Karina Malpica, the Latin American Indians have always used ayahuasca.
Is this plant legal? As far as the Spanish legislation and the anti-drug law is concerned, this plant is NOT covered by this law. In the 2nd World War the USA catalogued it as a hallucinogen, after numerous studies it was banned and it was concluded that it was not a threat to public health, it is now used in hospitals in treatments against drug addiction in specific cases, in the 90's it was introduced in Europe openly, and its effects are not a problem for society. On the contrary, it is a tool that lets you know that you belong to a community of life, an advance in the knowledge of the nature of the human being, and like cannabis, it can have therapeutic effects not so much on some as on others.
Here I leave you some links to consult about its effects and benefits.

The effects of Ayahuasca
In my opinion, in our culture magic and healing powers are questioned as long as they are not scientifically proven.
There are many testimonies that affirm the spiritual-personal goodness of the cleansing process that is produced by following a strict protocol of action in the "pre" and "post" of the Ayahuasca ritual.
This plant and its effects bring us closer to a reality and awareness of the nature that surrounds us. It is the tool that many citizens need to connect with a real-natural environment.our society has created large grey cities of asphalt and concrete.where individuals communicate more often via the internet than face to face.and minds are saturated with information.so if this plant gives us a "shortcut" to connect with our inner self and with reality.go ahead. So, if this plant gives us a "shortcut" to connect with our inner self and reality, go ahead.
Although it is not a substitute for traditional arts methods of inner connection such as zen meditation, yoga, chi-kung, etc., which should be practiced continuously. Which must be practised continuously in order to make progress. The concept of this plant, and its ritual, is that of a mere working tool.
